HOW IT WORKS
ICHI SCALPER EXPLAINED
Expert advisors, or EAs as they are more commonly known, have the promise of achieving high returns. However, EA’s are hyped with comments about returns without any real proof of substantiation.
Even though Ichi Scalper is performing very well, this isn’t down to pure luck. It’s because the trading conditions that Ichi engages perfectly matches the current movement of the AUDUSD market. The Ichi Scalper EA will do as its names says and look for scalping opportunities. Should the market move against the trade, it will scale into the position and continue until there is a retracement. This is where the largest profits are made, though this must be monitored by the client for fundamental data announcements, and to ensure the margin requirements are met. Because we are currently experiencing the type of market that Ichi finds perfect to trade, there are naturally more opportunities to be traded. Although Ichi Scalper has seen great success since its launch in 2014, the AUD/USD sideways trend must continue to allow Ichi Scalper to maximise the performance of its returns. This sideways movement has been occurring since late 2015 and currently still continuing.

HOW TO RUN ICHI
To learn how to install, set up, run and close the Ichi EA, please refer to our short video guides here.
WHAT CURRENCY DOES ICHI RUN ON?
Ichi only runs on the AUDUSD currency pair, the stability of which is time proven and gives confidence to investors who are looking for a currency with consistency in performance and returns.
WHAT TYPE OF EA IS ICHI?
Ichi is 5-minute scalper robot. It takes advantage of the AUDUSD being bound between a range and not trending long distances before some retracement. In this conditions, trade outcomes become more predictable.
WHAT IS A SIDEWAYS MARKET?
The sideways trend is also known as a trendless, ranging or flat market. Though similar to the other two types, the sideways trend shows no major difference in the price values between the beginning and the end of a specific time period. The sideways trend denotes market conditions in which prices may be moving back and forth between levels of support and resistance.
HOW CAN I MANAGE RISK?
Ichi has 5 levels of risk settings, 1 being the most conservative and 5 being the most aggressive. The Ichi Scalper EA will be run on your self traded account which allows you to manage your positions at any given time. Typically, Ichi needs no intervention. However should circumstances arise that manual intervention is required you have full control to disable the EA, and then close trades, or open hedge positions. It is important not to close trades when an EA is operating, as the programming does not recognise your intervention. For more information on understanding your risk, please read here.
